Rescue home inmates kidnapped, others protest

Rescue home detainee women in Hyderabad staged a protest and their demands were simple, they wanted to go home. Inmates of a rehab centre in Ramanthapur organized a protest at the centre. They demanded the authorities to send them back home. Inmates of the Ujjwala P & R Centre at Sarada Nagar in Ramantapur today insisted that they wish to go back to their places and requested the authorities to do the needful.

The onlookers informed that the insecurity faced by the inmates deepened after the early hours incident today. As per sources in the early hours of the day a set of four sex workers who were rescued and kept in the rescue home, were kidnapped by some.  

As per reports ten armed assailants attacked the security guard at the rehab home and forcibly took away four girls on two wheelers at 4 am today. Though a lot of controversies loom over the incident the case is registered under kidnap of the women.

Whereas the inmates feel that the life in the centre was torturing and the girls were better outside. The four women missing have been identified as Seema and Salima of Mumbai and Zareena and Latha of Kolkata. There are a total of 22 inmates in the rehab center run by NGO.
