TDP polit bureau member Kadiyam Srihari has said that separate state of Telangana had been delayed only because of the betrayal of Congress party and wrong decisions of TRS chief K Chandrashekara Rao.  Mentioning about TDP's stand on Telangana, he has said that Telugu Desam Party would present another letter in favour of Telangana state on September 15. Addressing the press at Mahabubabad, Congress had been betraying on this issue for the past 50 years.

Further, Kadiyam Srihari has said that Congress was giving contradictory statements every other day on Telangana issue, which apparently hurt the sentiments of four-and-half crore Telangana people.  He even said KCR should answer to the public as to why he had gone to Delhi all of a sudden. He even questioned as why TRS didn't extend its support for Telangana March so far.
