Tension prevailed at Ramanthapur area in Hyderabad this morning when miscreants allegedly abducted four trafficked women from a rescue home, which was run by the state government with the support of an NGO. Although the abductors tried to kidnap at least ten women, six of them managed to escape from their claws with minor injuries. The kinapped women belonged tow Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangladesh.
The women activists, who arrived at the spot on learning about this incident, allegedly thrashed the manager of the rescue home stating his role behind the kidnap. The police, however, intervened and took the manager for clarifications.
