Kiran meets Chidambaram

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who left for Delhi sometime back, has arrived at the national capital territory. He has met the union finance minister Chidambaram. He is also scheduled to meet power minister Vayalar Ravi. If buzz is to be believed Kiran was in Delhi to address several key issues in the state especially the growing criticism for power shortages in the state. The sources said high command asked Kiran as to why there was so much of power cut in the state for which Kiran apparently said that increase in population. It looked like high command was not happy with Kiran's answer, which asked him to come to Delhi, said political observers.

On the other hand, earlier Congress MP Chiranjeevi too wrote to the chief minister Kiran Kumar about the continuous power cuts. He reportedly told CM that public especially farmers were facing problems due to power cuts. The political observers opined that after Chiru wrote that letter, a large number of public reportedly got fascinated by the determination of Chiranjeevi. So, the political observers stressed that the only option available for Congress, in order to pacify the people in the state, is by making Chiranjeevi chief minister. Will Congress high command discuss the change of leadership too in today's CM meet has become topic of the town.
