Govt failed in protecting farmers: Venkaiah Naidu

BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu has lashed out at the Center and State on farmers' problems. He has alleged that the government has terribly failed to solve the problems of the public in the state. He has also said that the government was not responding on the allegations of the irregularities and scams. He even demanded prime minister Manmohan Singh to step down from his post. Addressing the media, he has said that BJP would stall the proceedings on corruption and scams. Further, Venkaiah Naidu has assured that two schemes would be implemented by them in case NDA comes to power in 2014.

It has to be mentioned here that several leaders have been demanding prime minister Manmohan Singh to step down from the post. Recently TDP leaders too demanded PM to resign for the post owing moral responsibility on Assam riots. Even leaders such as Jaya Prakash Narayana have expressed displeasure over prime minister's approach.
