Legendary singer SP Balasubramaniam, who had spread the magic of his voice across the country, was grandly felicitated by Adarsha Sangeetha Academy in Bangalore on Monday. The academy has conferred upon him the title 'Adarsha Ratna.' The former prime minister H D Deve Gowda handed over  a memento to SPB.  Also, present during felicitation programme were Dr. Chandrashekara Kumbara, the one who's selected for Jnanpith Award.

Addressing the media, SP Balasubramanyam has said that he was happy to receive this award and thanked Adarsha Sangeetha Academy. It may be noted that SP Balasubramanyam has received countless awards for his wonderful playback singing.
