CPI state secretary Narayana has found fault with the statements made by the home minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on minister Danam Nagender. He said the home minister was supporting rowdism in the state by calling Danam Nagender as her brother. It may be recalled that Danam Nagender, the minister, has allegedly ransacked a Hindu temple in Hyderabad and later locked the doors of it, which irked scores of Hindu saints and activists.

One of the noted saints in the state, Paripoornananda Swamy questioned whether Danam Nagender would lock up a Masjid or Church. He said had he (Danam) find anything wrong by ISKCON, he would have dealt the matter in a democratic way but the minister allegedly locked up temple. He even questioned whether Hindus were inefficient.

And today Narayana said Danam Nagender behaved like a rowdy and asked Danam should decided whether he's a minister or a rowdy. The political observers, who expressed their displeasure over Danam act, questioned as to why the Congress high command was silent on the issue.
