YSR Congress party has taken on the union minister Jaipal Reddy. The party has alleged that Jaipal Reddy has mortgaged the interests of the state at the Centre. The party, which expressed its displeasure over allocation of gas to Maharashtra, said no deal would be made on gas without his notice as he's the petroleum minister.

The party even mentioned that it wouldn't sit mum in case Kiran Kumar Reddy, who went to Delhi to apparently discuss this issue with the prime minister Manmohan Singh, returns to Hyderabad without convincing the Centre.
