PCC general secretary Niranjan has lashed out at KVP Ramachandra Rao, Congress MP. He alleged that KVP was trying to bring difference among leaders in the Congress party. It may be recalled KVP allegedly took on PCC for not putting the portrait of late YS Rajasekara Reddy in Gandhi Bhavan. Coming down heavily on this statement, Niranjan said KVP shouldn't forget that many Congress leaders became the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh in the past.
Further, he held KVP responsible for the current situation in the state. He questioned whether KVP was not responsible for the death of YSR. These counter statements made by Niranjan reportedly triggered a new debate in the state.
