The left parties have geared up to lay seize to the Andhra Pradesh secretariat on Wednesday. The left, which took on the government vehemently for the increase of electricity charges have called the party folks and other sympathizers to march towards secretariat and lay be-seize secretariat. The left parties have also slammed the government for not having a foresee.

The parties reminded the historic Basheerbagh incident a decade ago and said it was due to such policies Basheerbagh movement took place and a warned of kick start of a similar movement from today. In the wake of this call by CPI and CPM, the state government has taken all measures to avoid untoward incident.

Traffic restrictions came into place and all roads leading to secretariat have been closed. The traffic, which has to move through secretariat, has been diverted. Heavy police personnel have been beefed up in and around secretariat.
