Jagan steps out of jail after a long time

YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy has breathed the fresh air outside Chanchalguda jail after a long time. Today, he was taken to assembly since court permitted him to cast his presidential vote at assembly. Since June 10, Jagan didn't get a chance to see the outside world as he was produced before the court only through video conferences.

Jagan got an opportunity to meet good number of MLAs from his party at the assembly today. He even took a few minutes to talk to his mother and acting president of the party, YS Vijayalakshmi.  Jagan reportedly spent up to 20 minutes at the assembly after which he was taken back to jail. Jaganmohan Reddy seemed to have enjoyed the outing today. The atmosphere was also pleasant in Hyderabad this morning.

It may be noted that Jagan, who is the prime accused in illegal assets case, has been put behind the bars under judicial custody. He applied for the bail, which was turned down by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. However, his followers are hoping that he would get bail in Supreme Court.
