The Andhra Pradesh High Court has deferred the hearing of the bail petition of former IAS officer Sri Lakshmi to June 27.  The court posted the hearing to 27 after the hearing the arguments of CBI too on Friday.  It is known that CBI arrested the then IAS officer Sri Lakshmi in connection with controversial government order that allegedly benefitted Obulapuram Mining Company. She was said to be responsible for alloting mining lease to OMC company.

The High Court asked CBI whether the officials have questioned Central Government officials in connection with the case. Sri Lakshmi is currently in Chanchalguda Jail under judicial custody.
