TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has lashed out at Sakshi media run by the prime accused in illegal assets case, Jaganmohan Reddy. He said Sakshi media was creating unnecessary fuss out of CBI JD Lakshminarayana's call list. Babu questioned as to what was wrong in reporters exchanging words with an investigation officer. He said it was their (reporters') duty.

Meanwhile, the noted crime reporters in AP held a press conference in Hyderabad on Thursday. They said they had threat from certain political leaders. They said if required they (reporters) would call n number of times to investigative officers. The crime reporters forum demanded a section of media (which created alleged derogatory stories on certain reporters) to tender unconditional apologies to the journalists.

It may be recalled that YSRC activists and leaders, in a bid to establish their statements that CBI JD was leaking selective information to the media, released CBI JD's phone call list, which reflected that JD spoke to some journalists apparently including a woman reporter's number. The focus was more on this woman journalist and a section of media ran speculative stories on this woman, which irked journalist unions in Andhra Pradesh.
