Anti Corruption Bureau Court of Andhra Pradesh has served notices on Tamil Nadu Governor Rosaiah in connection with a land scam in Hyderabad when he was the chief minister of the state. The allegations of ACB are that Rosaiah gave 9.3 acres of government land in the main centre of the city to some private bodies.
The court has directed Rosaiah to be appear before court on August 2 in connection with the allegations levelled against him. It may be recalled that Rosaiah, who served as the finance minister of AP, in YSR's cabinet was made the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh (by the Congress high command) after the death of YSR in a chopper crash. After serving for a couple of months, Rosaiah was asked to resign and he was sent to Tamil Nadu as the Governor.
