ED approaches court against Jagan Reddy

The Enforcement Directorate on Friday has filed a petition with the CBI Court-which is trying illegal assets case-seeking the court for allowing them for enquiring the prime accused in the case, Jaganmohan Reddy. The ED, in its petition, has stated that the money laundering was allegedly carried out unlawfully and therefore it was seeking the enquiry of Jaganmohan Reddy.

It is known that Jagan Reddy is now in Chanchalguda jail under judicial custody. His judicial custody would end on June 25. Also, CBI filed a petition for conducting narco analysis test on Jagan, which was deferred by the Court.

Jagan Reddy, who established YSR Congress party in the name of his late father, according to CBI has misused the power of his father who was the then chief minister and dolled out favours to several companies that invested in his Jagati Publications and Bharati Cements.
