Tollywood actor Ramcharan Tej will enter into wedlock with his childhood friend Upasana Kamineni on Thursday morning. The marriage festivities have begun already. On Monday, sangeet ceremony was held and on the same day Chiranjeevi threw a party to the guests, who included Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
On Tuesday evening, mega and Kamineni families left for Domakonda Fort in Nizamabad district, which happens to be the native place of Upasana Kamineni. Special rituals were conducted at the famous Muthyalamma Temple on Goddess Muthyalamma or Pochchamma. She's the family Goddess of Kaminenis.
Bonam (pot with food) was cooked and offered to Muthyalamma and then the prasadam was distributed. Festive atmosphere prevailed in the entire village. Domakonda Fort was grandly decorated on this occassion. Upasana Kamineni later distributed clothes to the people in the village and luncheon was arranged for the villagers.
It may be noted that Kaminenis wanted to perform the wedding of Upasana Kamineni at Domakonda Fort. However, the venue was later changed keeping in view the accessibility of guests who would arrive from across the globe.
