Law will take its own course

The deputy chief minister, Damodara Rajanarasimha has said that the law will take its own course in the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The deputy chief minister spoke to the media in Nizamabad while he was heading to IIIT in Basara. He has condemned the news that the government was resorting to revengeful acts on Jaganmohan Reddy. Further, Damodara Rajanarasimha has said that the Central Bureau of Investigation was working as per the orders of the court.

To make a point, Damodara has said that earlier TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu has lashed out at CBI and called it as Congress Bureau of Investigation, and now everyone is expressing their satisfaction over CBI’s inquiry on irregularities by Jaganmohan Reddy. He has also predicted that Congress would win at least eight seats in the by-polls to 18 assembly constituencies. Also, he said the main competition would be between TDP and Congress.

What Damdara Rajanarasimha said might turn out to be true given the fact the political charisma Congress MP Chiranjeevi has. Chiru is the only asset to the Congress party in the state. If Congress has any hope for victory in the state, it would be apparently because of Chiranjeevi. So, it would be better for Congress party if it makes Chiranjeevi the chief minister of the state even though Chiru said he has no interest to become CM.   (Phani)
