CM takes responsibility of by poll tragedy

The Chief Minister N KIran Kumar Reddy said that he took full responsibility of the tragic performance of the party in the recent by-polls. Speaking to media today in the evening he said that it was his fault that he could not take it in to the public, the various programs successfully implemented by the government. Hence he felt that he was solely responsible for the party’s dismal performance in the by-polls. It may be noted that the by-poll results was very embarrassing for the Congress. The TRS won five seats in the Telangana region, with BJP grabbing the other. In the Coastal region YSR Congress gained back its seat. Congress was routed in both the segments and leading opposition TDP was in deeper trouble.

Asked about the growing controversies between him and the PCC Chief Botsa Sathyanarayana, the CM firmly replied that the reports were baseless. The CM also added that both of them shared a very good relationship. As per the by-polls verdict he asked his party workers not to get disheartened. He said every defeat teaches a moral, and this one has taught a stronger one.  As per the Telangana issue, he reaffirmed that it is a decision that the centre has to take.

Finally he also confessed that there was a little confusion in the selection of the candidate for Mahbubnagar constituency. CM further assured that the reasons of the recent debacle would be analyzed and necessary action would be taken, to ensure that such things are avoided in future. (With inputs from internet- AarKay)
