ACB raided 34 syndicate offices

Making a statement in the assembly on ACB raids on liquor syndicate leaders in the state, Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana announced that the raids were conducted on 34 syndicate offices and their leaders till now.

Answering the TDP allegations on the issue, the Minister said the government can’t divulge the details of cases pending in courts. “On behalf of CM, I would like to say that the government will soon make changes in the excise policy in the state,” Kanna said.

However, the TDP members expressed their unhappiness over the minister’s statement and demanded the government to disclose the contents of the ACB reports in full. (JUBS)
