The TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu released the list of his party candidates contesting the March 18 by-polls in the state.

Mr Somireddy Chandramohan reddy from Kovur, Kadiyam Srihari from Station Ghanapur,  Jagadeeswara rao from Kollapur, Marri Janardhan reddy from Nagarkurnool, Venugopal from Kamareddy, Payal Sankar from Adilabad and Mr Chandrasekhar from Mahaboobnagar will contest as TDP candidates in the by polls.

Meanwhile, the BJP announced its candidate for Mahaboobnagar seat and said the former TRS leader Mr Srinivasa Reddy would contest as its candidate. The BJP is angry over the TRS announcing its candidate unilaterally for the seat despite the request of BJP president Kishan reddy to leave the seat to his party.

Kishan reddy said there is a demand from the party cadres to put up candidates in other constituencies also and the state BJP leadership will take a decision soon on the issue. (JUBS)
