Senior leader from the state Renuka Chowdhary who holds key contacts in the AICC, remarked that the party had received complaints over the appointment of RTI Commissioners. Adding fuel to the fire the senior leader also said that the party is investigating over the issue. Political observers believe that such allegations are common. But taking her seniority into consideration this could work against the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. The CM is already embroiled in various controversies due to his colleagues.

The comment also gains importance in the wake of the recent remarks passed on by the PCC Chief Botsa Sathyanatrayana. Earlier the Chief commented that there was a match fixing in this regards between the CM and the Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandra Babu Naidu. Whatever be the reasons the CM is moving through a lean patch with the ACB close on heals about his colleague’s involvement in the liquor scam.
