The CBI special court at Nampally in Hyderabad today extended till Feb 14 the judicial remand of the auditor Mr Vijayasai Reddy, accused in the illegal properties case involving the YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
With his remand ending today, officials produced him before the special judge Nagamaruthi Sarma. The judge agreed to the request of CBI to extend his custody.
Vijayasai also filed a petition seeking bail and the judge adjourned till Feb 9 hearing on the petition. The CBI has already filed its counter objecting to the bail.
Vijayasai Reddy has been presently lodged in the Chanchalguda jail after his arrest in the Jagan properties case. (JUBS)
