Endowments Minister Mr C. Ramachandraiah said today his first priority would be to protect the temple lands in the state and promised to take appropriate steps in this regard.

Speaking to media persons in his chambers at the Secretariat after assuming duty as the Endowments Minister, Ramachandraiah said he would take steps to ensure that daily Puja and Harathi rituals are held even in remote temples in the villages.

Observing that handling the Endowments portfolio is a big responsibility, Ramachandraiah said he would strive to solve the problems of Archakas at the earliest.

After the media conference, Tirupati MLA and mega star Chiranjeevi, actor Allu Arjun, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana and some ministers called on him to congratulate. TTD EO Mr LV Subramanyam and some TTD priests also met the new endowments minister. (JUBS)
