Telangana Congress MP Mr Madhu Yashki Goud said today that non-induction of the Telangana Congress members into the cabinet along with the two PRP members is like a political lesson for the congress leaders of the Telangana region.
Talking to journalists after a meeting of the T Congress MPs at the residence of MP Mr Vivek in Hyderabad, Madhu Yashki Goud said the congress leaders of the Telangana region should give importance to idea of achieving the Telangana state than any thing else.
Goud found fault with some T congress MLAs who have been hankering after political posts and seeking cabinet berths. “I hope they have learnt a lesson at least now. They should think and concentrate on achieving the separate state. Why run after cabinet berths?” he asked.
Gutta Sukhender Reddy, who also participated in the meeting, alleged that the state government has been doing injustice to the Telangana region for the last six years in matters of national highways, NABARD and Panchayat Raj projects.
“If people think there is no Telangana stir and the agitation is suppressed, they are thoroughly mistaken,” he observed. (JUBS)
