Textile Minister hurls a googly at CM, irregularities in housing

The Textile Minister Shankar Rao known for his criticism of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, has hurled another googly at the CM.  This one might really embarrass the `Kiran Sarkar’, as the former said that there were wide discrepancies in houses allotment under the Indiramma Housing. Addressing the Journalists on Tuesday at Hyderabad, he said 'there are many irregularities in the allotment of Indiramma Houses in my constituency of Secundrabad Cantonment.’

He added, `While 1,520 houses have been sanctioned in my constituency under the Indiramma Housing scheme, there were irregularities in nearly 1,000 houses.’ Adding further, 'I have brought the irregularities to the notice of Revenue department and asked them to take stringent action against those who occupied houses illegally.’

Mr. Shankar Rao, a speculative figure in the state had been in the mid of controversies and had a dig at the senior members of his own party. Earlier, he filed cases against Home Minister Sabita Indira Reddy and YSR family members.
