Home minister P. Chidambaram said today that the Centre would soon hold an all party meeting on the issue of Telangana.
Addressing a media conference in Delhi, Chidambaram expressed the hope that TDP also would participate in the next all party meeting and express its opinion on the issue.
When journalists pointed out TDP Chief Mr Chandrababu Naidu has been touring the Telangana area and making statements that he was not against formation of the Telangana state, the Home Minister said he was not aware of the development.
“However, I hope the TDP will send its representative to the all party meeting and openly express its opinion on the demand for separate state of Telangana,” he said simply. (JUBS)
