Amid reports that the Congress high command has agreed to provide three berths to the erstwhile PRP MLAs in the state cabinet, mega star Chiranjeevi arrived in Visakhapatnam today to participate in a private programme.
When journalists asked for his comments on the media reports that the high command has accepted his demand to induct three PRP men into the cabinet from three regions of the state, the actor-turned politician refused to talk about politics as his trip was not meant for it.
Chiranjeevi, who was in Delhi on Tuesday for attending a seminar, today straightway flew to Visakhapatnam. “Visakhapatnam people have been showering their love and affection on me for a long time and I am very much grateful to them,” he said evading replies to journalists’ queries on politics.
Meanwhile, reports said that the congress high command has agreed to induct into cabinet Mr Ganta Srinivasa rao from coastal area, Mr C. Ramachandraiah from Rayalaseema and Mr Anil from Telangana.
Sources said CM Kirankumar reddy will expand his ministry during the month end by inducting the 3 PRP MLAs into the cabinet. (JUBS)
