In a dramatic turn of events for Mr Rajagopal, accused number 3 in the illegal mining case, the special CBI court of Nampally in Hyderabad today stayed his bail till Dec 19 after granting him bail a few hours earlier.
After he was granted bail by the court, CBI immediately moved the court seeking cancellation of bail for him saying he would flee the country and influence the witnesses.
The court, responding to the counter, heard arguments and then suspended the bail till Dec 19. The court earlier granted conditional bail to Mr Rajagopal and ordered him to furnish two sureties of 50,000 each and surrender his passport.
The court also told him not to try to flee the country and tamper with evidences and influence the witnesses in the case. (JUBS)
