TRS president KCR today entrusted party responsibilities to the leaders who joined his party after resigning from the Congress and TDP.
KCR appointed Jupally Krishna Rao, Rajaiah, Gampa Govardhan and Jogu Ramanna as TRS in charges of party affairs for the constituencies Kollapur, Station Ghanapur, Kamareddy and Adilabad respectively.
These leaders have recently resigned from the Congress party and TDP on the Telangana issue. While Jupally Krishna Rao and Rajaiah quit the Congress protesting against the delay by the congress leadership in taking a decision on the issue of Telangana, Gampa Govardhan and Jogu Ramanna have resigned from the TDP charging its chief Mr Chandrababu Naidu with double standards and adopting anti-Telangana policy.
Ahead of the possible by-elections in the 8 constituencies in Telangana area, TRS has been busy taking steps to strengthen its organization with a view to capture majority seats. (JUBS)
