Anna Hazare has back pain, advised rest for two days

Doctors have advised Gandhian Anna Hazare to have two days of complete rest on medical grounds, according to his close aids in his native village Ralegan Siddhi.

Hazare, who is presently camping in his village near Pune, is slated for leaving for Delhi on Dec 10 for his participation in the day long agitation seeking a stronger Lok Pal Bill the next day. Though it is not clear what ails the social activist, it is understood that Hazare has had a bout of back pain in the last two days and is not in a position to move.

Anna Hazare, who has been leading an agitation demanding the introduction of a stronger Lok Pall bill in the Parliament, has threatened to re-launch his anti-graft stir by undertaking a fast at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi from Dec 27 in case the bill is not passed in the winter session of Parliament.

“If there is no police permission for my fast, I will court arrest and fast in the jail,” he has already threatened. (JUBS)
