The special CBI court of Hyderabad ordered the CBI officials to furnish copies of all documents seized in cases of YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy and the APIIC-Emaar land scam to the IT officials of Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Special judge B. Naga Maruthi Sarma passed these orders on Wednesday to the CBI overruling the objections of the counsel for Jagan and the Emaar properties.
The copies of the documents seized during the CBI raids on Jagan’s premises and on the houses of the directors of the Emaar Properties are related mostly to their properties. The copies all these documents will now be provided to the IT officials at the cost of the petitioners in the Jagan and Emaar cases.
IT officials of both Bangalore and Hyderabad separately petitioned the court seeking the copies of all those documents saying that Jagan and others are not responding to their notices on IT assessment and they were vey much in the need of those documents.
Counsels of both Mr Jagan and Emaar opposed the order, stating that I-T officials are not entitled to the papers. But the court overruled their objections. (JUBS)
