CBI officials, who have questioned several top officials including IAS officials MGVK Bhanu and Srilakshmi in the illegal mining case, is now gearing up to interrogate the Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao who ruled roost during the regime of YSR.
KVP commanded things in his capacity as a close friend of YSR and also as an advisor to the Government during YSR regime.
CBI feels Mr KVP has relation with all the three cases-illegal mining case, Jagan illegal properties case and the Emaar Properties case and wants to question him for his role in the three scams.
Most of the persons questioned by the CBI have revealed the name of KVP and his questioning is likely to reveal more information connected to the scams, CBI feels.
The name of KVP has also come up even in VANPIC (Vadarevu and Nizampatnam Port and Industrial Corridor) project and CBI has information he had a role to play in the fast moving of VANPIC files.
Reports said Bhanu has revealed the name of another IAS officer Mr Manmohan Singh in the VANPIC project and the CBI has already questioned him in the case.
