The Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader T Harish Rao, who is the party’s big wig, representing the Siddipet constituency in the Medak district, criticized the ruling party on various issues to the media today.

He complained that on one hand rice was subsidized to one rupee per kilo and on the other hand the government displayed double standards by cutting the quantity of sugar and kerosene issued through the ration shops to the below poverty line consumers.

He also claimed the funds allotted for the welfare of the SC and ST were being diverted. The government must constitute a special board to on-look the perfect implementations of the schemes to the backward sections, especially the ST.

He further added that Girijana University must be constituted in Telangana area, so that the benefits will reach the right people at the right place.
