Telangana Congress MP Mr Madhu Yashki Goud said today that all public representatives are ready to quit again and fight for the cause of Telangana if the Government’s decision comes against the formation of Telangana state.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Yashki said that they have already discussed with TRS chief KCR the issue of agitating for Telangana on a common platform keeping aside party flags and affiliations.
Asserting they would not tolerate postponement of a decision on T state any more, he said they would carry out their fight for Telangana in the winter session of Parliament. He also condemned the criticism being leveled on the rejection of their resignations.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Ms Meira Kumar said that she had rejected the resignations of 12 MPs under sections 240 of the Lok Sabha rules. Lok Sabha Secretariat officials said the resignations were not submitted in the required format and hence they were rejected.
