Property worth crores of rupees was gutted in a major fire accident in Kurnool last night and the fire men took more than four hours to put out the fire.
The fire, broke out from a tyres shop in the dead of the night, soon spread to the top floors where the Kumar Shirts and Rekha Garments show rooms were located and a residential complex nearby.
The incident took place in the MRF tyres showroom opposite the busy Bhoopal Complex. Fire men came to the spot a little bit late resulting in major property loss. Senior officials have rushed to the spot for an assessment of the situation.
