Reacting to the on-going hectic parleys on Telangana in Delhi, TRS chief Mr K. Chandrasekhara rao today said the heat of the mass general strike by the four lakh employees of the Telangana region has touched the congress high command and the Centre.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad after attending a meeting of the Telangana Political JAC leaders, KCR said that the Centre has speeded up the process of consultations on Telangana as it is frightened of the intensity of the mass general strike of the T employees.
Expressing hope that the Central government would make a favourable announcement on the formation of T state, KCR warned the state and central governments against attempts to water down the agitation.
“Any attempts to foil the mass general strike would face stiff resistance and if necessary, I will take up fast unto death again,” said KCR.
