Actor Mr AVS said today the Ramineni Foundation-2011 awards would be given away on Oct 12 at a function in Vijayawada.
AVS, who is also the convener of the Foundation, said the organization has been giving away the awards every year to some renowned persons in different fields. “This year we are organizing the function at Hotel Gateway,” he told newsmen.
He said the awards would be given away to STPI founder-director Mr AA Chaudary, veteran stage artiste and director Mr Chatla Sriramulu, yesteryears heroine and character artiste Ms Gitanjali and veteran painter Lakshman Yele.
Foundation chairman Mr. Ramineni Dharma Pracharak and Guntur district Zilla Parishat former Chairman Mr P. Nagabhushanam also addressed the media conference.
