The Congress high command has reportedly instructed the Chief Minister Mr Kirankumar reddy to remove the Textiles Minister Mr Sankara rao from the state cabinet, according to reports in a section of the press.
Kirankumar Reddy got the word from the high command during his trip to Tirumala on Thursday and he is expected to meet the Governor ESL Narasimhan and recommend his dismissal from the cabinet today.
Sankara rao, who filed petitions in the state high court against the YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy leading to the CBI investigations against his alleged illegal properties, has begun making allegations against most of the ministers in the state cabinet troubling the ruling establishment in the state.
Sankara rao has also complained to Governor against some of the ministers and been making allegations against the working style of the Chief Minister. The conduct of Sankara rao is also not liked by most of the ministers.
Senior congress leaders feel that Sankara rao, being a minister, could have complained to the chief minister and raised issues in party forums instead of violating the protocol and writing letters to the High Court and Governor and going public through the media.
