CBI Joint Director Mr VV Lakshminarayana said today they would submit a status report on the investigation into the illegal mining case registered against the mining mafia don Mr Gali Janardhan reddy and his brother in law Mr Srinivasa reddy to the Supreme Court on September 30.

“Some special teams are working on collecting evidence against the Gali brothers and we will submit the status report to the apex court of India on September 30,” Lakshminarayana told journalists.

Speaking on the progress of investigation launched against the illegal properties of YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy and into the APIIC-Emaar land scam, Lakshminarayana said that there has been very good progress in the investigation so far.

“If necessary, we will take into custody some more people,” he said.
