The city of Hyderabad and other Telangana districts have witnessed hectic T agitation today with several top TRS and Telangana Political JAC leaders leading rasta rako at several points in the state capital and in the districts demanding the formation of separate state of Telangana.

While the all people’s strike entered the 16th day today, the T leaders resorted to road blockade at key places in the twin cities disrupting traffic and putting the road travelers to difficulties besides creating tensions.

TRS leaders Mr K. Tarakarama rao at Mettuguda, Harish rao at the Hi-tech city, Etela Rajender at Trimalgherry and JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram at Abids resorted to rasta roko along with their supporters and disrupted traffic. At all these places, police stepped in and arrested all the leaders and activists amid tensions.

On the other hand, the mass general strike was total and complete with the Telangana employees of various government departments continuing to extend their support to the strike aimed at achieving Telangana state. There was no pubic transport system across Telangana for the tenth consecutive day today and there are no doctors either in government hospitals to attend to patients.

Drivers and fourth class employees too have joined the strike in the secretariat and officers were forced to drive their own vehicles or engage private drivers.

It must be said the Government exists for namesake only while there is a total collapse of administration across all Telangana districts including Hyderabad.
