BJP fears Gali, Jagan may raise bogey of Rayalaseema

GaliJaganBJP top leadership and the Karnataka government are keeping silent on the arrest of the tainted former minister Gali Janardhan reddy by the CBI in the illegal mining case just not to embarrass the powerful Bellary politician for the simple reason that he along with YS Jaganmohan reddy, the tainted chief of the YSR Congress, may raise the bogey of separate Rayalaseema state.

There is one more reason. He is the financial backbone of the BJP not only in Karnataka but also at the national level. If he is antagonized through statements by BJP leaders, he may decide to destabilize the state government with the backing of his 40 plus group of MLAs and float a new party or may even raise the bogey of separate Rayalaseema state that may include Bellary and parts of Rayalaseema districts.

The BJP top leadership is also of the view that he may join hands with the YSR Congress chief Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy politically to run the movement for separate Rayalaseema state.

With this fear, the BJP leadership has asked all party leaders not to criticize the Reddy brothers saying he is only an accused now and not a convict as yet.
