T leaders ask MPs MLAs to quit Mr G. Kantham, vice president of the JAC of the Telangana People’s organizations, today asked the people’s representatives of all political parties of Telangana region to quit their posts on or before September 10.

Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, Mr Kantham asked them to stick on to the schedule for quitting the posts and warned them of Maoist-type attacks on those who do not resign.

“The attacks would be similar to the Maoist attacks in Nepal. And the attacks would be carried out also on the houses of those who do not resign,” he warned.

Meanwhile, Telangana Political JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram told another media conference that the state is in an unprecedented political crisis at the moment and the Telangana organizations and parties must make use of the situation to achieve Telangana.

“The resignations of pro-Jagan MLAs provide us an opportunity to achieve Telangana and we must be on the job,” he said.
