In a seemingly wild allegation, YSR Congress party leader and cine actress Roja today charged the chief minister Kirankumar reddy with prior knowledge of YSR death on September 2, 2009 in helicopter crash.
Speaking to media persons at Guntur and Nellore, she said that Kirankumar knew in advance of the impending helicopter crash and therefore he didn’t accompany YSR during the helicopter trip to Chittor.
“At least 15 minutes in advance before the helicopter took off, the then Speaker Mr Kirankumar Reddy knew of the incident and intentionally avoided going along with YSR,” Roja charged.
Meanwhile, echoing the similar allegations, former minister and YSR Congress leader Konatala Rama Krishna told media persons in Visakhapatnam that the hand of the congress leaders is suspected behind the helicopter crash that killed YSR.
“There was no proper probe into the helicopter crash that killed YSR. A supreme court judge should inquire into the accident,” he said. The government seems to be planning to take action against two officials of the state aviation corporation and close the case, Ramakrishna said.
