HC to hear Jagan case on Monday

jagan'The AP High Court today adjourned the hearing on the YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s alleged illegal wealth case till Monday.

Saying that the preliminary reports submitted by the CBI officials have not yet been examined, the court ruled further hearing on the case will take place Monday next.  The court further said that the preliminary reports, submitted by the CBI on the allegations that Jagan had accumulated illegal wealth and indulged in money laundering, would be examined thoroughly before taking any decision.

“The court will take a decision after examining the reports and hearing all the parties concerned on the issue,” said the division bench dealing with the case. Joint Director of the CBI Mr Lakshminarayana attended the court today on behalf of his organization.

Reports said that the court had rejected Jagan counsel’s request to conduct a secret hearing of the case similar to the way the Delhi High Court did in Jain Hawala case. “No. that is not necessary here,” said the court.
