Members of the Telangana congress leaders’ steering committee met the union minister and in charge of AP congress affairs Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad at the Shamshabad airport today and discussed the Telangana issue when the latter stopped for a while en route to Gulbarga.

When Azad arrived in Hyderabad, Ministers Danam Nagender and Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha extended a hearty welcome to him along with PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana, former PCC chief D. Srinivas, MPs Ponnam Prabhakar and Rajaiah.

Before leaving for Gulbarga by a special helicopter from Hyderabad along with Rajanarasimha, Azad met the team of T congress leaders and held discussions with them. He also separately met Botsa and. Srinivas.
