TDP today accused TRS of indulging in politics over dead body of Telangana ideologue Prof. Jayashankar by behaving as if it has exclusive rights over him.

 

Releasing a letter in the name of TDP Telangana Forum in Hyderabad, party senior leaders Kadiyam Srihari and Devendar Goud said they could not get an opportunity to pay last respects to the mortal remains of Jayashankar due to the dead body politics practiced by the TRS.

 

Asserting that Jayashankar belonged to all Telangana people, the TDP leaders accused the TRS of attaching party affiliations to the Telangana ideologue. “The Telangana region developed during the period of TDP only but the TRS is attacking our party instead of questioning the congress party which is the only party that can bring Telangana,” said the leaders.

 

The letter ends with the slogans Jai Telangana, Jai TDP, Jai Chandrababu. Forum convener Errabilli Dayakar Rao also participated in the press conference.
