Aided by three cash counting machines, 15 students of the Satya Sai Educational Institute and some bank employees are reportedly counting the heaps of currency notes, jewellery, diamonds and other valuables found in the Yajurmandiram of the late spiritual master Sri Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthy.

 

Yajurmandiram, the personal chamber of the Baba who lived there till his hospitalization, was opened on Thursday morning by the Satya Sai Central Trust members. Neither media nor any Government officials were allowed to be there when the chamber was unlocked.

 

The counting started soon after the chamber was opened Thursday morning and is still going on at the time of writing this on Friday.

 

Reports said huge heaps of cash, gold ornaments and precious stones including costly diamonds were found in the chamber and the same were videographed.
