Contrary to reports that cine actress Roja is being sidelined in the YSR Congress party, she was today appointed as party spokeswoman and member of the party’s central governing council.

While YS Jaganmohan Reddy is the party president, his mother YS Vijayamma will act as the honorary chairperson.

In the list of party’s office bearers released today to the media by the party leader Bhuma Nagi reddy in Hyderabad, 21 names, including 4 women, are mentioned as the as members of the governing council.

While Jagan has appointed Mr Somayajulu and PC Reddy as advisers, he also appointed 7 spokespersons for the party. They are Roja, Ambati Rambabu, Vasireddy Padma, Gattu Ramachandra Rao, Bajireddy Goverdhan, Jupudi Prabhakara rao and Rehman.

While PNV Prasad will act as the party’s state co-coordinator, Nirmala Kumari will hold responsibilities as the women’s wing president. The party’s youth wing will have a president in Gutta Prabhath Reddy. The students’ wing will be headed by Maddineni Vijay.
