The students of West Godavari district captured six of the first ten ranks in the polytechnic entrance results released by the Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha in Hyderabad today.

While Anirudh of Ranga Reddy district got the first rank, Sravya of Khammam district got the second rank.

A total of 1, 84, 936 students were qualified to join the various polytechnic courses in the state. The results showed a pass percentage of 82.79 among boys and 89.10 among girls. For all the polytechnic courses, a total of 2, 10,099 students took the entrance examinations.
