Two Congress MLAs of CM Kirankumar reddy’s Chittor district, Mr Peddireddy Ramachandra reddy and Shahjahan Pasha, today complained to the Union Minister and in-charge of AP congress affairs Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad saying that the image of the party will continue to suffer if Kiran continues as the chief minister.
They said that the CM doesn’t carry any support from the MLAs even in his Chittor district and handed over to Azad a letter in which they sought removal of Kiran as CM. The letter was signed by four MLAs from the district.
“He doesn’t carry any MLA of the district with him and is also obstructing developmental works in our constituencies as he opposes us,” Putalapattu MLA Mr Ravikumar said in his written complaint. “The CM is vindictive and trying to take revenge on us,” the signed letter said.
The MLAs had requested Azad to remove Kirankumar from the CM post to save the party in the state. “If he continues as CM, the party will not have any future in the state,” they told Azad.
